In this online age, the value of the High Street Agent's presence is still showing to be of real value as recent survey carried out by Censuswide shows. The results revealed that 56% of buyers and sellers prefer face to face communication.
Other methods were much less popular, with 16% wanting to communicate by phone, 15% by email, only 5% by online chat, and communication via personal apps or dashboards and text at only 2%.
When broken down by age groups, the results reflect generational differences with the highest proportion of votes for using a personal app/dashboard coming from 16 to 24 year olds - but still at only 10% and even in the youngest age group 52.2% still prefer face to face communication.
